The ALEC project launches the first newsletter dedicated to climate change education in Latin America!
In Latin America, only 39% of countries have a national law, policy, or plan specifically focused on climate change education.
In this context, the Office for Climate Education, along with several partners, has launched the ALEC project (Latin America for Climate Education). The project aims to promote climate change education in Latin America through the adaptation of pedagogical resources to the local context, professional development for teachers, and the creation of a community of practice.
As part of the ALEC project's implementation, the first newsletter on climate change education in Latin America will be released. This quarterly bulletin will feature project partners, upcoming events and workshops, as well as relevant information on the progress of climate education in the region.
